Meghan Pereira, Ginger Bidell, and Ellen Sidey of the Instructional Resources Department, in conjunction with Jenna Dulak, instructional designer at Hilbert College, have created the Western New York Blackboard Users Group (WNYBUG). BUGs are supported by Blackboard and exist as a way for Blackboard users in our area to meet, whether virtually or in person, to exchange ideas and expertise. Currently the group's membership spans 20 public and private institutions within Western and Central New York.

The group has a website and a Listserv and will host an eLearning Day at Hilbert College on Friday, October 17.

All are welcome to join the BUG by subscribing to the Listserv, and all are encouraged to register for the free eLearning Day event and to submit presentation proposals. Representatives from Blackboard and invited vendors will also be in attendance. Please join us!
