A book of literary criticism by Peter Ramos, associate professor of English, titled Poetic Encounters in the Americas: Remarkable Bridge, has just been published by Routledge. The book examines the ways in which U.S. and Latin American modernist canons have been in cross-cultural, mutually enabling conversation, especially through the act of literary translation.
