N. John Popovich, associate professor and chair of the Career and Technical Education Department, was awarded the Sidney Platt ACTEA Medallion of Honor from the Association of Career and Technical Education Administrators at its annual conference (PDF, 1 MB), held April 10–12 in Albany, New York. The award is given to those who further the aims and objectives of career and technical education programs for New York State residents. Dr. Popovich, who started at Buffalo State in 1974, was recognized for his commitment to high-quality programming across New York State.
