Gerald Mead, lecturer in the Design Department, served as a panelist for the New York Foundation for the Arts’ Strategic Opportunity Stipend grants on October 19. He also juried and selected awards for the 2011 Southern Tier Biennial, an exhibition in Olean, New York, encompassing artists from nine counties of New York’s Southern Tier, on September 16, and he juried applicants for the Echo: Art Fair, Buffalo’s inaugural fine art fair, on July 9.
