Gerald Mead, lecturer, Design, wrote the catalog essay for the New York Foundation for the Arts exhibition,  “Mark Making: Artists of NYFA Mark 10 Buffalo,” which was on view at Artspace Buffalo from April 2 to April 24. Mead gave a lecture, “Collecting Western New York Art,” at the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University on March 3. On April 8, he juried the entries for the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts with Darien Johnson, assistant professor, Design. Mead also judged the 15th annual Dorothy Ralph Photographic Essay Competition at the Buffalo Museum of Science on April 28.
