Gerald Mead, Lecturer, Art and Design

Gerald Mead, lecturer in the Art and Design Department, was commissioned to write essays for two recent books on the work of Western New York artists: the introductory essay, “Girls Think of Everything,” for Coni Minneci’s Mothers of Invention: Real Women Who Rock, published by Meibohm Fine Arts; and the introduction for Russell Ram: 50 Years, published by Buffalo Arts Publishing. Both publications were produced to accompany solo exhibitions of the artists’ work. Mead’s article “Remembering John Pfahl” appeared in Cornelia Magazine (Issue 3, spring 2020), published by the Buffalo Institute of Contemporary Art.
