Dan MacIsaac, associate professor of physics, and Buffalo State alumna Amanda Dolan, ’15, M.S.Ed. physics education, published their paper, “Analyzing the Mechanics of Women's Roller Derby to Engage Introductory Physics Students,” in the Science Teachers Association of New York State’s Science Teacher Bulletin 82 (2): 6–23. The paper, including photos of physics demonstrations by Roc City Roller Derby athletes, is available on the STANYS website.
