Melaine C. Kenyon, Director of Technology Support Services, RITE

Melaine C. Kenyon, director of technology support services for RITE, presented a multicampus perspective panel, "Practices and Experiences in Navigating the IT Pipeline as Women," at the Educause Annual Conference in Anaheim, California, October 25–28. Kenyon coordinated the panel to weave research, personal stories, and advice and offer effective practices to women who wish to navigate—and succeed in—higher education IT career paths. Panel members were Deborah Keyek-Franssen, associate vice president for digital education and engagement at the University of Colorado System; Bernadette Williams, IT program manager at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte; Beth Schaefer, director of IT services at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee; and Amy Diehl, associate vice president and director of systems and applications at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
