Carlos Jones, assistant professor, Theater, presented two working sessions, “Dance Appreciation: Teaching Beyond the Art” and “World Groove Technique: A Response to the 21st-Century Global Pop-Culture,” at the eighth annual Hawaii International Conference on Arts & Humanities, held in Honolulu, Hawaii, January 13–16. Jones also conducted workshops in musical theater dance for 500 high school students at the New York State Theatre Education Association’s (NYSTEA) 2010 conference in the Catskills January 8–10.
