Kimberly Hart, Associate Professor, Anthropology

Kimberly Hart, associate professor of anthropology, has received a Fulbright to conduct ethnographic research in Istanbul in academic year 2015–2016. Her topic, "Istanbul Street Cats and Expressions of Kindness and Neglect," will explore how humans care for street animals, civil society organizations protecting and representing them, and government policies to manage—and, some claim, eradicate—street animal populations.
