Carolyn Guzski, assistant professor of music, received the Adrienne Fried Block Fellowship from the Society for American Music at its annual meeting, held in Charlotte, North Carolina, March 14–18. The award supports Guzski's research project Race at the Opera: Artists of Color at the Metropolitan, 1916–1926.
