Timothy Gallineau, Associate Professor, Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration

Timothy Gallineau, interim chair and associate professor of higher education and student affairs administration, received the Distinguished Service to Higher Education Award at the College Student Personnel Association of New York State (CSPA-NYS) annual conference, held October 22–25 in Corning, New York. CSPA-NYS, the first chartered state division of the American College Personnel Association, is recognized as one of the most prestigious higher education and student affairs professional associations at the state level. Gallineau has been a charter member since 1981. He has held professional positions at Buffalo State for 20 years. Before coming to Buffalo State, he served as vice president for student development at St. Bonaventure University and as dean of students at Slippery Rock University. He earned his doctorate in education from the University of Akron.
