Wanda Davis, professor of higher education administration, received a citation from the state of Pennsylvania in June, sponsored by state Senator Andrew Dinniman, for the dedication of the first of five historical markers of one-room schools in the Upper Oxford Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The citation recognizes the recent dedication of the marker at Villa Nova and honors Pfc. Robert A. Davis. Wanda Davis is a long-standing member of Buffalo State’s distinguished Peterson Society and founder of the Robert A. Davis Endowed Scholarship at Buffalo State. The citation recognizes her work to preserve local history while honoring local heroes.
