David Dachauer, motor vehicle operator with Campus Services, has published his first novel, Tether Me Not. Released in August by Dallas-based publisher Brown Books, the book deals with the spiritual questioning and grief Dachauer experienced after the unexpected death of his wife, Jennifer, in February 2010. Dachauer will discuss the novel and the writing process at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, in the Burchfield Penney Art Center. He encourages aspiring writers to attend. Barnes & Noble, Talking Leaves, and Amazon.com currently carry the novel. Copies of the book will also be available for sale at the event.
