Sourav Biswas, assistant professor of chemistry, was invited as a guest speaker at the Department of Chemical Sciences at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) in Mumbai, India, on December 22. Dr. Biswas presented his research group's work, "Metal Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Materials for Aerobic Oxidation Reactions." He acknowledged the contribution of five Buffalo State students and the EURO and Small Grants programs of the Undergraduate Research Office.
