Susan M. Baldwin, assistant professor and internship program coordinator for the Health and Wellness Department, conducted a 5-hour School Health Index needs assessment tool training workshop, representing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to school administrators in the School District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 1. The workshop was among the initiatives resulting from the City of Philadelphia's recent Putting Prevention to Work in Communities award, a major federal grant funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
