Faculty and staff are invited to attend Academic Convocation on Thursday, September 15, at 12:15 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall. Convocation is an important tradition on our campus; we celebrate learning and excellence in commencing a new academic year and recognize colleagues who are recipients of SUNY and Buffalo State awards. This year, we are initiating online registration for the academic processional. If you would like to participate, please register online. All respondents will be contacted with directions for the formation of the academic processional. If you need academic attire, rentals are available through the Barnes & Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore. Download cap and gown rental form (PDF). Rental forms are due to the bookstore by Friday, August 19. A light reception will immediately follow the convocation.
