The New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP) has released the Rates and Deadlines publication for 2024 (PDF, 1.4 MB). This booklet should be delivered to employees’ home addresses within the next few days. The rates are also available on the Human Resource Management website.

Please note: The Biweekly Premium Contribution rate qualifier, or cutoff, for United University Professions (UUP) employees is incorrectly noted in the NYSHIP Rates and Deadlines publication. The booklet erroneously shows an annualized salary of $47,964. The correct annualized salary should be $49,403, which became effective July 1, 2023, with the new collective bargaining agreement.

UUP employees should be aware that their biweekly health insurance contribution will be based on the higher threshold.
