When: Wednesday, October 12, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Town Ballroom, 681 Main Street, Buffalo, NY
Attire: Creative cocktail

Young Audiences of Western New York’s annual fundraiser brings community leaders together to celebrate our mission of enhancing young people’s lives through the arts. Your support helps bring programs to children throughout the eight counties of Western New York.

This year, our program features two exciting acts:

Act I (6:00–8:00 p.m.): Guests enjoy a classical music performance by cellist Nancy Baun as well as plentiful appetizers from Torches, a silent auction, raffles, and our annual awards ceremony, honoring outstanding achievement in the fields of art and education. This year’s program celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of Lorna C. Hill, founder and artistic director of the Ujima Theatre Company Inc., and Helga MacKinnon, former executive director of Young Audiences of Western New York.

ACT II (8:00–10:30 p.m.): The Act II after-party concert features musical performances by Diaspora Drumming and headliners N’Dias (the Mix) in the Town Ballroom auditorium. N’Dias is a 12-member world-beat ensemble that performs African drum and dance in engaging high-energy performances that are sure to get you moving.

Can't join us for the full Young Audiences Goes to Town benefit event? Then join us at 8:00 p.m. for the Act II after-party concert only. General admission tickets are $15 or $10 for students (with valid ID) and are available at the Town Ballroom box office, online at www.townballroom.com, or by phone at 852-3900.
