VSLC Community Partner Meetings Open to Faculty and Staff

Buffalo State's 2012–2013 academic theme is the Year of the City! Community-based projects and activities for students are more relevant and timely than ever. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to connect with community organizations and groups to discuss volunteer, service-learning, and other community-based learning opportunities for the fall 2012 semester and beyond. Representatives from area nonprofits and organizations will be at the following community-partner planning meetings to explain their needs and make connections:

  • Thursday, July 26, 9:00 a.m., Loretto Center, 301 14th St., 14213
  • Thursday, August 16, 3:00 p.m., Buffalo State, Cleveland Hall 205

To R.S.V.P., please call or e-mail Rose Coates, ext. 5811, or vslc@buffalostate.edu. Let us know which planning session you would like to attend, and we will get you additional information, including directions.

If you cannot come to either meeting but are looking for partners or projects, please e-mail vslc@buffalostate.edu to let us know what you are thinking about. We can explore options for you at the meeting.
