Spring New Student Orientation is quickly approaching, and we are excited to welcome our new Bengals to the Buffalo State community. Below are just a few reminders and some helpful tips that you can share as you are working with incoming students and their families.

Program Details
Our in-person program will take place on Friday, January 26. Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the first session starting at 9:00 a.m.

Student Registration for Orientation
Upon submitting their deposit, students automatically receive information prompting them to self-register for their orientation session within their applicant portal. If students have trouble accessing the applicant portal, please have them email orientation@buffalostate.edu for assistance.

How You Can Help

• Provide a departmental flyer or item for the student swag bag.
• Table during our Resource Fair.

We are excited to also offer a Winterim session about summer 2024 orientation this January. If you would like to join us, please sign up through the Winterim workshop registration system when it is released.
