Buffalo State has recently reviewed and modified its procedures for allowing campus vehicles to access pedestrian walkways. In the future, vehicular access to campus walkways will be more limited. Vehicles, including vendor and auxiliary service vehicles, unauthorized maintenance vehicles, residence hall vehicles, and University Police cars not responding to emergencies will be prohibited from driving on campus walkways.
Those vehicles still permitted to access campus walkways will be emergency response vehicles and maintenance vehicles specifically authorized and required by their tasks to do so.
We appreciate the cooperation of the campus community in implementing this procedure.
