Repairs are being performed at Campbell Student Union to preserve the building’s shell. Work is now under way to repair deteriorated exposed concrete beams and to replace brickwork, pavers, and waterproofing at the east entry plaza and terrace outside the main dining area. Work near the east entry will be phased to minimize disruption and allow near continuous use of the entry. A temporary ramp has been constructed to facilitate access for people with mobility impairments. This work will continue until early December at which time all construction fencing and barriers will be removed. Next spring repairs will be performed on brick facades in other locations and the upper roof will be replaced. We apologize for any inconvenience these much needed repairs create.
