Posted: Wednesday, April 27, 2016Tell Students: Zhengzhou University of Light Industry Summer Camp
As a part of Buffalo State's ongoing collaboration with Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, we are pleased to offer two Buffalo State students the opportunity to participate in the university's summer camp from Wednesday, June 22, through Wednesday, July 6. Participants will be responsible for their plane tickets (arriving in Zhengzhou [CGO] and leaving Beijing [PEK]), as well as their visas and health insurance. Accommodations, meals, and domestic travel will be supported by Zhengzhou University of Light Industry.
Participants will be exposed to Chinese culture, including traditional dance, music, and food. They will visit some of China's most important historical sites and gain an understanding of modern Chinese life.
Applicants must submit an essay of no more than one page detailing how this experience will further their academic goals. Essays should be submitted to Melissa Conwell, department assistant in the International and Exchange Programs Office, by 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 2. Late essays will not be accepted.
