Tell Students: Student Textbook Survey

Instructional Resources and Butler Library are conducting a study to explore the correlations between the cost, format, and availability of educational materials and student academic behavior. As part of the study, we will survey students to find out about their textbook buying practices and their decisions about course enrollments based on the cost, format, and availability of textbooks and other educational materials. We will also explore students' preferences regarding educational materials.

Affordability and accessibility for students is an important SUNY-wide initiative and a potentially important aspect of student retention. Please encourage your students to participate in this research study by completing the Student Textbook Survey they receive by e-mail, and please participate in the companion faculty survey that you receive as well. Thank you.
