Tell Students: Restorative Justice Center - Drop-In Hours

The Buffalo State Restorative Justice Center now has open hours for students. Restorative justice is used nationwide at colleges and universities to resolve student conflict and incidents. Institutions like Skidmore College, Brown University, the University of Florida, Siena College, the University of Kentucky, the University of Texas at El Paso, the University of Michigan, and Canisius University all have RJ programs.

Restorative justice repairs harm done by an action. The goal is to work with all individuals (harmed and accused) to come to a resolution. Restoration can be achieved through restorative justice circles, mediation, conferences, conflict management, and even letter writing. Open hours are available Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. and the third and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The RJ Center is located in Bengal Hall 15 (lower level).
