The College Senate Curriculum Committee (CSCC) has endorsed an Intellectual Foundations revision that closely parallels the proposal from the Senate Intellectual Foundations Oversight Committee (SIFOC) that was shared with the campus last week. The CSCC’s proposal is available for your review on the College Senate home page.
The CSCC will present its IF proposal for initial debate at the April 13 College Senate meeting. It is anticipated that the CSCC will make a motion to approve its proposal at the May 11 Senate meeting. If the proposal is endorsed by the Senate and approved by the president, it will be implemented in fall 2013. You are encouraged to contact your senator(s) with your feedback concerning this proposal and to attend an open forum on Thursday, April 26, during Bengal Pause (12:15 to 1:30 p.m.) in Bulger Communication Center East 2.
