Publication Pipeline Series - From Idea to Print: Strategies for Successful Academic Publishing - March 10

The Professional Development Center will present the first of a four-part Publication Pipeline Series, "From Idea to Print: Strategies for Successful Academic Publishing," on Thursday, March 10, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Butler Library 181B.

The presentation will discuss strategies for successful academic publishing, including how to build an active research agenda and professional network; how to generate publications and new research from past projects; how to successfully acquire book contracts; how to navigate academic journal publishing; how to organize and refine large research projects; how to become an efficient writer and publisher of new work; and how to take an idea and follow it through to successful publication.

Light refreshments will be provided. Please register online through the CyberQuad Workshop Registration System.
