Quigley Appointed Dean of the School of Education at the Sage Colleges

Buffalo State congratulates Lori Quigley, associate dean of the School of Education, on her appointment as dean of the School of Education at the Sage Colleges (Russell Sage College, Sage College of Albany, and Sage Graduate School), beginning July 1, 2010.

Quigley has been associate dean of the School of Education since 2007, also serving as the NCATE coordinator for the Teacher Education Unit. A faculty member in the Elementary Education and Reading Department, Quigley provided leadership to the literacy specialist program before moving to the dean’s office and has been committed to providing campus leadership for Native American initiatives since coming to Buffalo State in 2000. We wish her and her husband, Don, the best in their new venture.

Quigley will continue to provide leadership for our NCATE-focused visit in April 2010, working closely with the dean of the School of Education and the NCATE assessment coordinator, and will remain in her current position through the spring 2010 semester.
