After a lengthy internal search process, Ottilie Woodruff has been appointed director of Professional Staff Development. Woodruff will provide leadership for this crucial aspect of Buffalo State’s overall professional development activities. Her key tasks will be to develop and implement initiatives and policies that foster a campuswide culture supportive of excellence in professional service.

Since coming to Buffalo State in 1983, Woodruff has worked in the Educational Opportunity Program serving as a counselor and assisting the director in a variety of capacities. She has been an advocate for professional staff for years, serving on a number of campus and regional committees and in UUP. She has also been an adjunct instructor for various courses at Buffalo State.

Her initial appointment is for two years. Please join me in welcoming Ottilie Woodruff to her new position.
