Professional Development: Open Educational Resources

What are open educational resources (OERs)? How can I use them in my classes, or more importantly, why should I? This workshop will discuss the open education movement and share how OERs are used in education around the world. View videos giving a brief explanation of why “open matters.” Presented by Mark McBride and Beth Burns on Thursday, October 4, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library 314.
