A preretirement planning seminar for members of the NYS Employees' Retirement System who are age 50 or over will be held tomorrow, August 8, in E. H. Butler Library 210 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Topics will include calculating benefits, determining final average salary, service credit rules, estimates, what to expect after retirement, cost-of-living adjustments, death benefits, and survivor benefits. Space is limited; advance registration is required. Contact Lisa Gemmati, ext. 4821, to register.
