The Burchfield Penney Art Center will host the workshop "Plein Air Watercolor Figure Sketching" on Saturday, September 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 411 Delaware Avenue.
Enjoy figure drawing and watercolor sketching on location at Forest Lawn Cemetery with instructor Jennifer Koury. Participants will capture the beauty of Forest Lawn statuary and its grounds using watercolor washes and line. The workshop will begin with two-minute gestures and advance into watercolor sketching and painting. Artist demonstrations include figure gestural drawings and figure paintings.
This workshop is part of the International Center for Watercolor Artist Inspiration Series. The cost is $42 for members and Buffalo State faculty, staff, and students; $52 for not-yet members. The workshop is limited to 12 participants.
