PEP + DS Equals PEPDS: Performance Programs and Evaluations and the Professional Development System

A study at Motorola Inc. found that when workforce development was reinforced by senior management, it produced a $33 return on every dollar invested in training efforts. So, how can we save Buffalo State some money? By offering a two-part session that examines Buffalo State’s management philosophy and offers tools and tips on workforce development.

In this workshop, we will explore the role that supervisors play in building a great place to work; their impact on organizational climate, managing performance, and dealing with change; and sources of support in the Performance Evaluation Professional Development System (PEPDS).

This session is intended for anyone who supervises at least one other person or is new to the role of supervisor.
