Panel Discussion: Women and Gender Studies in Action: How Our Alumni Are Making Buffalo Better – April 23

How can pursuing a minor help students get a good job and make a difference in the world? Please join us for the panel discussion "Women and Gender Studies in Action: How Our Alumni Are Making Buffalo Better" on Thursday, April 23, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Butler Library 210. Three women and gender studies (WGS) alumnae who are doing innovative work to improve the community will discuss their jobs and how they use the knowledge and skills they gained from the WGS minor to succeed. The panelists will be Moira Madden from Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York, Samantha Nephew from PUSH Buffalo, and Emily Terrana from the New York Civil Liberties Union. This event is open to all members of the Buffalo State community.
