Outdoor Art Installations

Three outdoor fiber art installations will take place on campus this week and remain on view throughout the month of October in recognition of Arts and Humanities Month. The projects were designed by students in the Fiber Arts Program in response to a concept proposed by Design professor Jozef Bajus. All three works of art will be made of cotton fiber and will involve trees. Artwork will be installed in the Union Quad (between Campbell Student Union and Bulger Communication Center), Rockwell Quad, and Upton Quad. Actual installation times will be determined by weather conditions.
