Opening Ceremonies AFP 2012

The campus community is invited to join the opening ceremonies of the Anne Frank Project's fourth annual conference, "AFP 2012:  Embracing Responsibility," on Wednesday September 12, at 9:00 a.m. in Warren Enters Theatre in Upton Hall. Please invite your students, colleagues, friends, and family to hear welcome remarks from Buffalo State president Aaron Podolefsky and AFP director Drew Kahn, followed by featured speaker Carl Wilkens. Wilkens is the only American who chose to stay in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. He returns to the Anne Frank Project by popular demand to share his emotional, inspiring, and poignant lessons of acceptance, forgiveness, and activism.

Come and help us kick off what is sure to be a special four days at Buffalo State!
