Join Open SUNY COTE for the final webinar of Open Education Week, OER Algebra Course, from noon to 12:30 p.m. today, when Sophia Georgiakaki from Tompkins-Cortland Community College will talk about her successful and influential experience of transitioning her algebra course to an open model.
Open Education Week may be almost over, but your experience with open education doesn’t need to be. If this week has left you inspired to learn more or to try incorporating open educational resources into your courses, we encourage you to explore Buffalo State’s OER LibGuide for more information on finding and using OER and on OER initiatives on our campus.
We also invite you to attend the first meeting of Buffalo State’s brand-new Affordable Learning Materials Initiative (ALMI) on Friday, April 15, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Butler Library 208. This group is designed to provide support and information to faculty members interested in OER, and any level of OER experience is welcome.
