Students who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy should contact the Dean of Students Office at (716) 878-4618 if they are unable to attend classes due to National Guard service, travel-related delays, or family emergencies arising from Hurricane Sandy. The Dean of Students Office will notify a student’s faculty of the reason for his or her absence. Students are expected to complete all required work for their courses, and faculty members will be asked to take the hurricane-related reason for students' absences into account when evaluating their attendance and performance.
