'Noises Off': Presented by Casting Hall, Theater Department

Casting Hall Productions and the Theater Department are proud to present Noises Off, a play within a play, directed by Jennifer Toohey, assistant professor of theater. Performances will be held in Warren Enters Theatre, in Upton Hall, at 8:00 p.m. March 3, 4, 10, 11 and at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. March 5 and 12. A preview night will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, with reduced ticket prices (available for preview night only).

Called "the funniest farce ever written," Noises Off presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing's On. Doors slamming, on- and off-stage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play.

Advance tickets for all Buffalo State Theater Department productions can be purchased online or in person through the Rockwell Hall Box Office or by phone at 878-3005. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
