Carol Darstein, Coordinator of Pre-award and Contract Services, Research Foundation

Carol Darstein, coordinator of pre-award and contract services, Research Foundation, was appointed July 1 to the advisory board of the Grants Resource Center, a division of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), for a two-year term. AASCU represents more than 400 public colleges, universities, and systems of higher education throughout the United States. The Grants Resource Center’s mission is focused on providing information on available grants and, through a variety of electronic publications, helps sponsored programs representatives stay up to date on funding opportunities and programs. Advisory board members participate in the assessment of GRC services and meetings, offer commentary on current services, and serve as the “voice” of the membership. Darstein holds a juris doctor from the University at Buffalo. Buffalo State College President Muriel A. Howard currently serves as chair of AASCU’s board of directors.
