Jane Cushman, assistant professor, Mathematics, was selected as a Project NExT fellow for the 2007–2008 calendar year. It also provides participants with a network of peers and mentors as they assume these responsibilities. San José, California, was the site of the first training that corresponded with Math Fest in August. The second training will be held in San Diego, California, in January 2008, corresponding with the Joint Mathematics Meetings. The final training will be in Madison, Wisconsin, corresponding with Math Fest in August 2008.
