Live Irish Music: Barnes & Noble Bookstore - March 12

Mark Warford, associate professor of modern and classical languages, will host a traditional Irish seisiún on Thursday, March 12, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Barnes and Noble at Buffalo State Bookstore. Warford will perform works from his latest project, the First Thursday Seisiún, a monthly feature at the Shannon Pub. He will be joined by Paddy Ward, a flute maker from Ireland, on flute; his son on the tin whistle; and Maureen Bluett on bodhran, mandolin, and vocals. Guest appearances by other Buffalo State faculty members who are Irish traditional enthusiasts are likely. Join us!
