Lecture: 'Ethnic Conflicts and Their Transformations into a Regional and Global Jihad in the Former Soviet Union'

Anatoly Isaenko, Ph.D., associate professor of history at Appalachian State University, will present "Ethnic Conflicts and Their Transformations into a Regional and Global Jihad in the Former Soviet Union (Caucasus Region)" at 3:00 p.m. Friday September 21, in Classroom Building B118.

Isaenko is the author of Polygon of Satan: Ethnic Traumas and Conflicts in the Caucuses (Kendall Hunt Publishing, 2010). His talk is sponsored by the History and Social Studies Education Department and is free and open to the public.
