July M&T Second Friday at the Burchfield Penney

Every M&T Second Friday at the Burchfield Penney features many great programs and events, and July is no exception! Join us in celebrating the opening of four new exhibitions: Charles E. Burchfield: Road in Sunlight and Shadow; Charles E. Burchfield: From Nature; Architecture Exposed, in the Community Gallery (in collaboration with Starlight Studio and Art Gallery, Preservation Buffalo Niagara, and CEPA Gallery); and After 1812: Shared Frontier, in the Corridor Gallery (co-curated by History and Social Studies Education Department chair Andrew Nicholls).

Enjoy Project Pencil, a series of art workshops for the whole family; happy hour, featuring live music by the Larkin Plan; and a screening of Master and Commander, starring Russell Crowe, as well as Squeaky Wheel's annual outdoor Silent/Sound Film Festival, featuring a live performance of Terry Riley's In C (at dusk on the Louise Terrace). All programs are free, including free gallery admission from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. For more information, visit www.burchfieldpenney.org.
