Invitation to Meet with U.S. Office for Civil Rights

The U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) invites the campus community to meet with representatives from its New York Office, who will be on campus November 16 and 17 to discuss OCR’s current compliance review of Buffalo State College and its procedures for addressing allegations of sexual harassment and violence. During these meetings, OCR staff members will provide attendees with general information about OCR and offer them the opportunity to share information relevant to OCR’s review of the university’s sexual harassment procedures.

Two open sessions for the campus community will be held in E. H. Butler Library 210 as follows:

Wednesday, November 16, 7:00–8:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 17, 9:00–10:00 a.m.

Individual appointments to discuss sexual harassment and sexual assault issues will be held in several locations as follows:
