Governor Kathy Hochul has directed that flags on state government buildings be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, December 12, in honor of Technical Sergeant Christopher P. Rock, of Kerhonkson, New York, who died from an illness stemming from his work at the World Trade Center site following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Sergeant Rock retired from the New York State Police on September 27, 2013, after 26 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife.
