First WNY Health Geography and Geographic Information Systems Day: Why Geography Matters for a Healthy WNY

On behalf of the University at Buffalo–Buffalo State Health Geography Alliance, the Center for Health and Social Research invites all faculty and staff members to the inaugural Western New York Health Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day: Why Geography Matters for a Healthy Western New York on Wednesday, August 15, at Roswell Park Cancer Institute's Research Studies Center. This full-day event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature a variety of national and local speakers with expertise in geography, law enforcement, and public health. This is a free event, however, registration is required.
