Please join us for a farewell reception for Laurie Kaiser, interim director of media relations in the Marketing and Communications Office, on Wednesday, June 28, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Cleveland Hall 205. Ms. Kaiser has accepted a position as news content manager with the University at Buffalo. Her last day at Buffalo State will be June 28.

Joining the campus in 2011 as a public relations staff writer, Ms. Kaiser was promoted to assistant director of communications in 2018 and to interim media relations director in fall 2022. In these roles she has adroitly handled public and media relations; crafted communiqués and talking points for the administration; and promoted Buffalo State through her extensive writing for News, the Daily Bulletin, and 1300 Elmwood, among many other projects. Her expert storytelling has informed recruitment and development efforts for undergraduate and graduate admissions and Institutional Advancement for well over a decade.
