Please join us for the international exhibition Librartis: 100 Artist Books You Can Touch, curated by Italian artist Fabio Mazzieri, September 9–22 in the Czurles-Nelson Gallery in Upton Hall. The exhibition features books by international artists displaying numerous concepts and methods, all designed to celebrate the book as a physical object. All books in the exhibition are touchable to enhance the visitor’s experience.
A free hands-on workshop with the Western New York Book Arts Center will take place on Thursday, September 15, from noon to 1:30 p.m. outside the gallery; a reception will be held later, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a hands-on project from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
